These 19 hours of the online course will go through the following topics and provide insights to the BC residential builders and professionals to have better knowledge of construction technology.
• Introduction to residential wood frame construction technology, including wood frame structural components, connections, wall sections, and engineered wood, the materials and methods associated with residential construction
• Foundation structure, damp proofing structure
• Building system, floor, wall, attic, and roof
• The building envelope, waterproofing
By the end of the in-depth course, learners will have a better understanding of the subject topic and gain better knowledge.
